Chemical Peel

What is a Chemical Peel?

A Chemical Peel is a controlled procedure designed to chemically exfoliate the outer layers of the skin. This process is designed to stimulate fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin.

Chemical Peels oxygenate the skin improving hydration, signs of ageing, wrinkles, tone & texture and can improve the appearance of mild scars.

Chemical Peels are suitable for all skin types and can be used to treat many skin concerns…

Which Peel is Right For You?

Who is suitable for this treatment?

Generally, fair-skinned and light-haired clients are better candidates for chemical peels. If you have darker skin, you may also have good results, however you are more likely to have a less uneven skin tone after the procedure.

How does it feel?

Depending upon the type of the chemical peel, a reaction similar to sunburn occurs following the procedure. Peeling usually involves redness followed by scaling that ends within three to seven days.

How often can you have a chemical peel?

This will depend on client to client, however a good aftercare routine will prolong results. Chemical peels are usually carried out every 6-12 months.
