Microneedling
What is Microneedling?
Stimulate Natural Skin Renewal for a Healthier, More Radiant Complexion
Over time, factors such as ageing, sun exposure, acne and environmental stressors can affect the skin's texture, tone and overall appearance. Fine lines, enlarged pores, acne scarring and uneven skin quality are common concerns that can impact confidence.
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive treatment designed to stimulate the skin's natural healing processes. By creating controlled micro-channels within the skin, Microneedling encourages the production of new collagen and elastin, helping to improve skin texture, firmness and overall skin quality.
Suitable for both men and women, Microneedling offers a versatile treatment option for those seeking natural-looking skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime.
How Does Microneedling Work?
Microneedling uses a device containing ultra-fine, sterile needles to create thousands of precise micro-injuries within the skin. These controlled micro-channels trigger the body's natural repair response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin – two essential proteins responsible for maintaining the skin's strength, structure and elasticity.
As the skin heals and regenerates, improvements in texture, tone and overall appearance become increasingly noticeable. The treatment also enhances the absorption of active skincare ingredients applied during the procedure, helping to maximise their effectiveness.

What Does the Treatment Involve?
Your treatment journey begins with a comprehensive consultation to assess your skin concerns and determine whether Microneedling is appropriate for you.
Following a thorough cleanse, a sterile Microneedling device is passed across the treatment area using carefully selected needle depths tailored to your individual skin needs. At The Qlinic, we treat the face, neck and décolletage, as the neck and chest are often neglected in skincare routines despite frequently being among the first areas to show visible signs of ageing.
Advanced serums may be applied during treatment to support hydration and enhance the skin's natural regenerative processes. Following Microneedling, a cooling and soothing face mask is applied to help calm the skin, reduce redness and support the recovery process. While you relax and allow the mask to work, you can also enjoy a complimentary arm and hand massage, providing a moment of tranquillity and enhancing your overall treatment experience.
Most clients describe the sensation of Microneedling as mild and well tolerated. Treatment duration typically takes 60–90 minutes, leaving you feeling refreshed, relaxed and one step closer to healthier, more radiant skin.
When Will I See Results?
Initial improvements in skin texture and radiance may become noticeable within a few weeks of treatment. However, because collagen remodelling is a gradual process, the most significant results typically develop over several months.
With each treatment session, the skin continues to strengthen and regenerate, contributing to smoother, healthier and more youthful-looking skin.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments required will depend on your skin concerns and treatment goals.
While many clients notice improvements in skin radiance and texture following a single session, a course of 3–6 treatments, spaced approximately 4–6 weeks apart, is often recommended to achieve optimal results. More intensive concerns, such as acne scarring, may require additional sessions.
Your practitioner will create a personalised treatment plan during your consultation.
