What is Skin Tag Removal?

Skin tags are small soft growths of skin that can be anywhere from 1mm-1.5cm in size and colour can vary. They can be found anywhere on the body but commonly in aread of friction or around the eyes.

The area is sanitised (?and numbing cream applied ?by client), after the numbing cream has started to work the area will be sanitised again to remove any excess cream. A sterile needle is put in the handset of the electrolysis machine. The very tip of the sterile needle is used to cauterise the skin tag using a low current.

Where can you have the treatment?

·       Armpits

·       Groin area

·       Under breasts

·       Under Buttocks

·       Around the neck

·       Eyelids

How does it feel?

Numbing cream is applied to the area before removal, however, some clients feel what is often described as a sharp scratch.

How often can you have Skin Tag Removal?

Treatment duration will depend on size and type of skin tag being treated.

For some skin tags a second treatment may be required, if this is needed this should be no sooner than 4 weeks.
